Born and Brewed in Melbourne, the Coffee Capital of Australia.

While You Be The Barista officially launched in 2020, our journey started long before that. Back in 2006, The Coffee Brewmasters began developing the TCB Process®, a pioneering, all-natural coffee extraction method using only beans and water. The goal was simple: capture the true flavour of freshly brewed espresso in a liquid form that stays stable at ambient temperatures, without additives or compromise.

For over a decade, The Coffee Brewmasters worked with leading beverage businesses to craft premium coffee solutions powered by this innovative technology. Then, in 2020, we decided to make our barista-quality extracts available directly to coffee lovers like you, and You Be The Barista was born.

The Beginning

Paul Marra had become interested in coffee concepts and products in the mid-1990s in Vietnam and South America.

The Opportunity

Paul sought out where the coffee opportunities could be, examining the global coffee market, identifying where the gaps in delivery were to the consumer.

The Result

A true to bean concentrated liquid coffee, shelf-stable at ambient, utilising the total solids and components within the coffee bean: a premium, pure easy to use format single-origin coffee.
